• How much does custom software development cost?

  Most of our builds land between $24,000 and $180,000, with the majority around $45,000 to $90,000. A dedicated senior engineer is $4,400 a month, or roughly £3,500. The honest answer is that scope drives cost far more than rate does, which is why discovery is free and comes first.

• How long does a custom software project take?

  A focused internal tool takes eight to twelve weeks. A full business system runs four to seven months. A multi-tenant SaaS product with billing and onboarding is usually six to nine. We give you a range at the end of discovery week, before you have spent anything.

• Do you use AI to write our code?

  Our engineers use AI tooling for scaffolding, tests and migration work, which removes 20 to 30 percent of the mechanical effort. Every line is reviewed by a senior engineer before it reaches your repository, and we pass the saving on as a shorter timeline rather than keeping it as margin.

• Who owns the code?

  You do. Source code, infrastructure definitions, design files and any IP created are assigned to you on delivery, in writing in the MSA. There is no proprietary runtime you have to keep licensing from us.

• Should we build custom or buy off-the-shelf?

  Buy, unless the software touches the thing you are actually good at. If the process is a genuine differentiator, or you are paying enterprise per-seat licenses for four screens out of forty, or your real system is three spreadsheets, custom usually wins. We say buy more often than you would expect.

• What happens if we want to stop mid-project?

  Dedicated team engagements run on one month's notice. You keep everything built to that point, including the repository and documentation. We have never made this difficult and we are not going to start.

• Can you work with our existing codebase?

  Yes, and a good part of our work is exactly that. We start with a short code review, tell you honestly what shape it is in, and propose either incremental improvement or a strangler-pattern migration. We do not quote for big-bang rewrites.

• How do you handle time zones with US and UK clients?

  Our US office is in Glendora, California, and delivery teams work a shift with several hours of daily overlap across Pacific through GMT. Standups, demos and escalations happen inside your business day.

• What is included beyond the developers?

  A technical project manager, QA involvement and DevOps support are included at no extra cost on dedicated team engagements. That matters when comparing quotes, because a lower headline rate that excludes all three usually costs more in total.

• How do you keep our data and IP secure?

  We are ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, work under NDA as standard, use least-privilege access to your systems, and can run development entirely inside your own cloud tenancy where policy requires it.

• Do you provide support after launch?

  Yes, sized to what you actually need rather than a fixed retainer. Some clients take an SLA with response times, others buy a small monthly block of hours. Both are fine and you can move between them.

• Why not just hire in-house?

  For a stable long-term product, in-house is often right and we will say so. Outsourcing wins when you need senior capability now, the work has a defined end, or you would spend six months hiring for a nine-month project.
